Payment Policy

Upon placing an order, a 50% down payment is required before work will commence. Payment is by Paypal or e-transfer to  artistry@juliagiavedoni.com.  You will receive a proof by email to preview prior to completion of the work. At this point, the remaining balance of 50% payment is due before your piece will be delivered. Delivery charges, if applicable, will be added to the final payment. Full payment when placing your order is also accepted. After the artwork is started, there is no refund.

Terms of Service

After I deliver your order, your photograph and corresponding artwork could be used for my portfolio or for marketing purposes. The artwork is the property of Julia G. Artistry and prints may be used in the future.  If you prefer to not have them displayed or used, please indicate at time of purchase. Julia G. Artistry and juliagiavedoni.com will not be held responsible for any misuse of the photograph and the corresponding artwork by website and social media visitors.

I will do my best to deliver artworks in a timely fashion and before the date requested; however, due to the nature of a custom commissioned portrait, I will not be held liable for any delays in delivery of the artwork.

I will ship the artwork only after all outstanding payments have cleared. A 50% down payment is required before work with commence and the remainder 50% is due prior to deliver. I will not be held responsible for delays in shipping and delivery of artwork that have a pending / outstanding balance.

You are solely responsible for uploading your photo and sending it to me. You should have the authority and copyright to upload & use that particular photograph.

I will do my best to deliver each piece within a 3 week time-frame; however, please be advised you may be on a waiting list. You will be notified of this at the time you place your order. For time-specific orders, please specify the date requested and I will do my best to complete artwork on time. If revisions are required, delivery will be delayed. Julia G. Artistry will not be liable for delays incurred due to revision requests. I assume that you have read through the terms and conditions prior to ordering.

Each artwork is carefully packaged before shipping to avoid any damage during transit. In the event damage occurs, I request that customers ship it back to sender within 7 business days, and I will correct the problem. If the artwork is beyond repair, I will offer a prompt replacement.

Cancelling an Order:

Once your request has been processed and your artwork has been started, there is no refund of your 50% deposit. When your artwork has been previewed and is ready to be shipped, full payment is required and you may not cancel your order.

Shipping:

If you live within the greater Hamilton Ontario region your order will be delivered at no additional charge. A shipping and handling fee of $15 will be added to the balance owing on orders outside of Hamilton.

I am committed to your privacy, safety, and security. While transacting with me, you would have to reveal certain details such as your name, address, phone number, email address, and credit/debit card number. I respect your privacy and therefore, utilize your personal information only to the extent intended and stated below. I will not leak/sell/rent your email address or any personal information to anyone. I do not store your private details such as credit/debit card number or Paypal details. My website is hosted on a secure and encrypted server.
